Jake is disorganised, frustrated, hyper, angry etc etc but for 2 months he's had v. bad anxiety and will not sleep without me nor go upstairs !!! lifes pretty tough at mo and I'm glad I've fnd a forum. Hi Lisa
Sorry but I haven't heard of DAMP. I haven't been on here for years, things have moved on a bit! And unfortunately not entirely for the better! Shaun is now 17, has given up his college course and sits in doors all day playing his xbox! Mix that in with some huge autistic meltdowns, smashed tv, holes in walls and attacks on both his siblings and hey ho wish he was back at school sometimes! I think being able to just share and get it off your chest does help tho so feel free
Thanks Coco, Sorry to hear he's an x box champ like Jake ! lol hes wii, xbox, ds anything to keep the brain busy hey. Has ur son got adhd? Mostly I cope well but at the moment the intense fear he has at nights is driving him and us insane. He wont be alone, psych told me to buy a blow up bed by side of my bed ! lol. Thanks for the chat. xx

Fortunately Shaun has always been a good sleeper and his only diagnosis is ASD, leaning more towards Aspergers I am thinking. We've had a right weekend of it with him, he has broken his glasses (again) smashed the banisters (again) thrown a step ladder down the stairs which has made a hole in the carpet, broken the wing mirror on the car we bought a month ago and given the neighbours a fine example of an autistic meltdown! All this because he says he had set TNT wrestling to record and it wasn't, by the time we realised there was a +1 channel it was too late the destruction and anger had set in. It is like walking on egg shells every second when he is like this. I am online at the moment looking into herbal remedies as I don't get any help from the GP or social services! I have coped so long without any help that now when I need it I just keep coming up against brick walls I hope your weekend has been better. Michelle x
