my son was diagnosed with adhd when he was 5 but in later years aged 14 was diagnosed with autistic spectrum disorder, something which was long suspected as he was unable to cope at school, had no friends amongst other things, he never recieved any secondary school education apart from 6 months home tuition just before he was 16.We constantly battled with the education system to get him a school place but they continually came back with there is no where suitable.Alan was already quite reclusive and due to being out of school for so long he now no longer wants to go out any where, he is 16 and doesnt really go out alone as he has a fear of dogs amongst many other fears.I really want him to get out and meet people as where as he is not bothered i know we will not always be here and the constant battles we have had over the years have taken thier toll on my health, any ideas on how to get him out and about and any ideas on suitable places to start with would be a real help

Ever thought about a job of some sort.
